Giving Businesses a Voice in Shaping a Sustainable Connecticut Solar Market

Connecticut's Solar-Specific Industry Business Group Since 2004

Connecticut's longest operating and most successful residential solar installers and commercial developers are members of Connecticut Solar and Storage Association (formerly SolarConn), the state's solar-specific industry business group since 2004. Founded and originally funded by the state of Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (now Connecticut Green Bank), SolarConn is now fully supported by its member companies who finance, sell, design, and install residential and commercial solar photovoltaics (PV) systems across the state and beyond.

We've repeatedly improved the Connecticut Solar Market in ways that individual businesses could not possibly achieve on their own.

With a long record of legislative, regulatory, state agency and industry accomplishments, our members understand their investment in SolarConn is an investment into their own businesses. Certainly, every solar installer / developer, every electrical contractor, every engineer and design outfit, and all others working in the Residential Solar Investment Program (RSIP) and / or the Zero Renewable Energy Credit (ZREC) benefits from the aggressive policy and lobbying work SolarConn performs for its members.
